The former God Apollo is having a pretty rough time of it. Well, for one thing, he's called Lester. But being an awkward mortal teenager is the least of his worries. Though he and his friends (some of them) have emerged from the Burning Maze, they still have a triumvirate to defeat, oracles to rescue and prophecies to decipher so that the world may be saved, and Lester can become Apollo once again. But right now, Caligula is sailing to San Francisco to deal with Camp Jupiter personally, and they have to get their first. Or risk its destruction.....

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Love it!! But am very sad it ended😭
I love Robbie Daymond's narration, it's great as always. I love how this ended but I'm sad it's the last Camp Half-Blood chronicles.
My main issue was that I (personally) felt didn't feel like there were very high stakes till the last 10 chapters, unlike The Burning Maze (the best) and The Tyrant's Tomb. However, I still love it as this was the ending of the chronicles and that we revisited (almost) everyone. I also loved Apollo's character development in this book. He is so different compared to The Hidden Oracle.
There are many other characters and things I love but I like to keep this short so those were my main thoughts. (and no spoilers so I'm not saying anything more)

so much to tie up so little time :)
I'm a 30 Yr. Old man , have listened to well over 200+ audio books, and I love all of these 20+ books and I wish it never had to end.
I first listened to this series 2 yrs ago and feel in love with the adventure and story... I think since I listened and didn't read these books I found myself not focusing on the fact that its written for middle school students but instead just hearing the great journeys unraveled in its pages... and now we come to an end of these and its sad but with the disney + and the netflix shows and the few open stories I spied in the last half if the book I am hopeful for the future or percy and his world.
also I hope that the other authors under the Uncle Rick umbrella get their works turned into audio so I can listen to them ;)

No seriously, I'm in tears. I love this entire universe so much, and this book is a beautiful end to a beautiful series, and I can't wait for more. If you are reading this review it means that I have finished this book, although this may be the final chapter in this fantastic tale, as sad as I am that this series has come to an end, I feel as though I have been on this turbulent and heartwarming journey, I am confident that Rick will continue the story in some shape or form!
