Fire and water are forbidden.

Sophia:

Liam and I survived the Elemental Cup, but the tournament was only the beginning. The Koigni Elders were impressed by my performance and believe I can help them take over the entire tribe.

But they're asking me to fight for a cause I don't believe in, and forcing me to use my magic in ways that feel wrong. I must learn how to use my powers to contact the ancestors - or I'll lose everyone I love.

Liam:

Sophia Henley's now my girlfriend. And, oh yeah, I'm supposed to kill her.

The water council has promised they'll bring my familiar back from the dead - my literal soul - if I take Sophia's life. But I love her more than I love myself. How can I make such an impossible decision? Even worse, how could I possibly live without her?

But this isn't about us anymore. If don't fulfill my mission, thousands will die...and Sophia and I are both keeping secrets that will change everything.

Troubled Water For Love

After I had listened the first book, Fire Prophecy, Ihad to continue. I was so addicted to this serie. The emotion, the imagination, plots.
In this book, we can see more than just one emotion build up. There are betrayals between people, hatred between tribe councils, struggles to complete trials.

Sophia and Liam battles to try and make their relationship work out while both keep secrets each other while pulling Jonah and Emigene into the chaos.
Once again, Jennifer and Graham were great in their emotion build up and knowing when to pause for effect.

For those who want to see a one-sided relationship in both end, struggle with trials and learning how to be a part of this world? Definitely listen to this audio!

Love the characters

Book should be rated R. Don’t have it blaring while young ears are around. Actually there were parts that had me blushing if ANY ears were around. Wasn’t expecting such adult scenes from a book that I assumed was for younger readers. I didn’t not like it because of that by any means, it was just very unexpected. The narrating is great and I love the story enough to buy the third book right away to start it.

Where To Next

just finished listening to The Water Legacy, and boy was it a long listen. OK, I have listened to longer books but this felt long.
The story is a good one and the narration is excellent but I just found myself irritated by the protagonists behaviours. Having said that I am glad that I have stuck with it and will listen to the rest of the series. The plot has my full attention and I am intrigued to see where it goes next.
