After Kim and her husband, Brian, decide to quit their jobs to travel around the world, they're given a yellow envelope containing a check and instructions to give the money away. There are only three rules for the envelope: don't overthink it, share your experiences, and don't feel pressured to give it all away. Through Ecuador, Peru, Nepal, and beyond, Kim and Brian face obstacles, including major challenges to their relationship. Though the storyline seemed interesting the audio performance was bad in parts where the reader was trying to intonation of characters other than herself. I am sure it was a rich and very interesting experience to travel the way they did, but could have been authored better. That said, there were many parts where I could relate and connect myself and the book did leave a thing or two for lasting impressions. I aspire to travel sometime the same way and it kind of made me imagine what to expect!
