Publisher's Summary

Today's view of history cannot account for ancient anomalies, such as the Pyramids and advanced knowledge contained in India's Vedas. But in 1894, an Indian sage gave us an explanation not only for our hidden past but for the trends of today and for our future enlightenment - the 24,000-year yuga cycle.

Beautiful introduction to the unperceived & the unexplored

What an incredible effort to introduce something that is far from personal experience and perception for so many of us. The authors arrests the listeners attention with imagination taking centre stage while going through the content. Beautiful, mesmerising and deeply spiritual...!!

Fascinating

The book has content that cannot be verified empirically but it is fantastic and fascinating surely. If you are familiar with Eastern spiritual concepts the contents of this book may not come as a surprise. Frankly, they sound intuitive deep down no matter how strange they sound to our ears. A lot of religious philosophy would actually tie neatly into it. Keep an open heart and you might actually come out a little more sceptical about the modern “obvious” knowledge.

Logical and Concise.

This is the first book that actually is focused and infinitely understandable in its attempt to clarify many mysteries and concepts from past ages. Brilliantly written. A must for anyone interested in spirituality and religion and who has an interest in many of the unexplained mysteries from the past.

Advance re-arrange of humanity frameworks

Comming from a science background and a Catholic Family I have pass the last 10 years trying to let go limiting beliefs that limitate our opportunity to perceive beyond our senses. I want to Yale the authors for the approach, that resonates with muy personal development experience and invite others to hear beyond the limitations of what they know or have been raised to believe

Fabulous Reading!

This book was absolutely fabulous to read! It goes not only with historical information but scientific information as well. At the beginning of this book I wasn't sure I would be able to grasp the concepts but it was so nicely done that it's actually encouraged me to read more into the subject matter.

10/10 would absolutely recommend if you have any interest in the subject matter.

Excellent book but one slight problem

This book is great and should be regular reading for everyone, but I am about to step on some toes in this review. I have no qualms with the yugas mind you those are true compared to the idea Einstein stole then manipulated into a wrong equation from James clerk Maxwell and Max von laue. Maxwell is very difficult to understand for most, sadly I am still unfamiliar with Laue but einstein got lost trying to understand Maxwell. Anyone who knows Electricity knows that due to the errant Einstein equation electricity and electrical lines of force shouldn't exist but obviously they do and they are engineerable and have practical applications. This theory undermines Sri Yukteswar Giri and his statement of the universe being made up of fine particles and electricities because according to Einstein electricity doesn't exist which anyone who works in the electrical field knows is a farse beyond reproach. I hope the authors are looking more closely at electricity and electrical theory and actions within electricity that do not have an explanation to how it works. We as human being will find the answers that have eluded us, because those who idolize Einstein have and are following his errant equation are not thinking clearly but are lost thinking to deeply while leading us down the wrong path. Read J.J. Thompson's works, anything you can find on Ernst Alexanderson, anything and everything Charles Proteus Steinmetz has done and finally Eric P Dollard. Tesla is definitely in the mix and we need to follow his example especially pertaining to experimentation and not getting lost in mathematical equations that have nothing to do with the Natural world and the more we don't consider ourselves as part of the Natural world the farther we will stray from truth of reality. This book is great when listening to the Yugas and historical significance is beyond the scope we can appreciate currently the consuming capitalist society we live in is exactly the opposite to how we should be living. I have read this book several times now and still consider it a must read for everyone especially pertaining to the Yugas.

Enlightening

Instead of lenior viewpoint of mankind’s evolvement, this book covers more subtle phenomena’s describing how universal forces affect human behaviors and creations over timelines of the history. A really good book to enlighten your self.

Most lucid explanation of the Yugas I’ve read

I’ve always been interested in theories of ancient civilisations but whenever I have come across the Yuga concept it’s always seemed Hazy and something that does not really describe the historical record.
This book turns this on its head with a brilliantly lucid explanation of the Yugas, their causes and potential effects on human history.
After the initial explanation the authors then go through mans recent timeline and re interpret it with this perspective. It’s well researched and shows how some of the greatest anomolies in the archeological record could be explained. It also looks at a range of ancient philosophies from this perspective in a way that is quite mind blowing.
Anyway if you want to understand the Yugas this book explains them in a down to earth way and shows them as a credible alternative explanation for mans development over the last 12 thousand years. If you have ever wondered about this stuff I’d really recommend it!
