Starring Emmy Award winner, Luke Kirby, and Screen Actors Guild Award winner, Lauren Lapkus, Things We Don’t Talk About follows the love and sex lives of multiple generations of an eccentric nuclear family. Equal parts humor and heart, the 9-episode series examines the different stages of sex during the lifespan of a relationship, while giving voice to the raw, messy, all-too-often unspoken experiences we endure, yet seldom find the courage and comfort to talk about.

But we should!

This is a mature, slice-of-life drama dealing with topics that need to be more spoken about openly. The performances by the ensemble cast are top notch, and the story and dialogues are heartfelt and genuine. A real gem!!!

some parts are funny but otherwise run of the mill

the narration is great. however couldn't figure out the scene changes sometimes so that led to a drop in following the narration.

Thought provoking, hopeful, sad but uplifting

I really enjoyed this mini series. While the discussed topics often triggered a bit of sadness in me, it was nevertheless worth going through until the end. It is filled with thought provoking stories that highlight how challenging, complicated and not merciful, but also beautiful relationships can be.
