Totally engaged in the plot
Transported to the scene of the plot and feels real. Immersive narration, good sound effects, production and good start.

A collection of the most audacious robberies.
It was quite enjoyable. I thought Canada was a quiet place. But I find some great and audacious characters here. They have given the Police Force a lot of work and experience..😀.

A window into the human psyche
Brilliantly narrated by Colm Feore, who kept me gripped and wanting to know more as we moved from heist to heist. Highly recommended this audiobook. It's free and you can't go wrong with a good heist story.

Fascinating series and insight into the criminal mind
Really enjoyed the series and a view into the world of these compulsive robbers some more audacious than others. Who knew that bank robberies were a regular occurrence in Montreal in the ‘80s with a warning light outside to alert would be customers not to come in. Crazy times...

Not bad
What could be more Canadian than a maple syrup heist? This is just one of a number of entertaining true crime stories featured here. The recordings include interviews with journalists, investigators and those involved with the crimes. Although the infamy of Canadian criminals is often overshadowed by their southern neighbours, there are some outrageous and sometimes amusing stories in here. Some of the presentation a bit annoying, e.g. everyone is introduced as "X, news journalist" or whatever beforehand. I'm not a fan of that style, although Colm Feore's voice is pleasant enough.

Fascinating listening
I loved this series. I had never heard of these heists or people and have since bought a biography on one for my Dad as he will love it. It was well narrated and so interesting.

Really upbeat, interesting look at Canadian criminals
I now have a new-found respect for Canadians as a people: they seem to have bred a whole bunch of extremely bright, witty, and original criminals and I’ve really enjoyed this whole series!

Great Stories you never thought you would hear!
Thoroughly enjoyed each story and Colm Feore’s voice is perfectly suited to storytelling of this nature. Hearing the voices of people involved in each heist makes even more entertaining. My daughter and I highly recommend this audiobook.
