Scholars are deeply gratified when their ideas catch on. And they are even more gratified when their ideas make a difference - improving motivation, innovation, or productivity, for example. But popularity has a price: people sometimes distort ideas, and therefore fail to reap their benefits. This has started to happen with my research on “growth” versus “fixed” mindsets among individuals and within organizations.

Needs to credit Carol Dweck in the audio
It feels misleading for this narrator to read without crediting the author in the actual audio. The narrator is a man, and when he read “my research on growth mindset...” I had to go back and look at my phone, wondering who this other man was who also did this research. That’s when I realized it’s Carol Dweck’s words, just read by a man. I think this should be made more clear in the introduction, like they do with other audiobooks. Anyone listening would think that it’s this man’s research and not hers.
