Graham Greene’s When Greek Meets Greek, a tale of two con-men trying to outwit each other, was first published in 1954. Laurence Olivier plays self-styled “Doctor” Nicholas Fenwick who runs a non-existent Oxford college. He is delighted when “Lord” Driver wants his son to study there.
"Theatre Royal" is a series of radio dramas owned and restored by Heritage Media, part of the Divine Art Recordings Group. First broadcast in 1953-4, it was the only radio series in which Laurence Olivier played dramatic roles. Other leading actors included John Gielgud, Ralph Richardson, Orson Welles, Margaret Lockwood, Alec Guinness, Robet Donat and Trevor Howard.
