Story
In July 2004, Barack Obama electrified the Democratic National Convention with an address that spoke to Americans across the political spectrum. Now, in The Audacity of Hope, Senator Obama calls for a different brand of politics: a politics for those weary of bitter partisanship and alienated by the "endless clash of armies" we see in Congress and on the campaign trail; a politics rooted in the faith, inclusiveness, and nobility of spirit at the heart of "our improbable experiment in democracy".

Story
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

Story
The Unusual Billionaires tells the story of eight, truly outstanding companies which delivered 10 percent revenue growth over the last 10 years and 15 percent return on capital employed. In simple words, these companies defeated 5000 other public listed companies to deliver high growth while maintaining profitability year-on-year for the last decade. How did these companies do it? Why couldn’t this be reciprocated by other companies? What are they doing differently?

Great speeches, no index
The audio quality is good, the speeches are great and separated one speech per chapter. But there are no titles of any of the chapters, no indication of when or where the speeches were given. The speeches do not seem to be in any sort of order, certainly not chronological. Still worth it if you want to hear the speeches, but a poor job of delivering information about the speeches themselves.

Yes We Can!!!
I totally agree with a previous review, the speeches were wonderful. ( of course, they were...it’s Barack Obama) But I feel like the author should have said at the beginning of each chapter which speech we were about to listen to, and also the date of the speech! You don’t just go from one speech to the next without an intro. It was sort of like a run on sentence. You didn’t know where one stopped, and the other started.

YES WE CAN! HOPE OF A NATION, HOPE OF A PEOPLE!!
Being born poor, black and fatherless, I was not considered a human being. Not by my country, not even by family. I can count on one hand how many gave me a chance. What i thought was neglect by my mother was a inner vision of my mother that i would make it. No way could I imagine that in my lifetime I would witness the amazing occurrence of a black man becoming PRESIDENT of the country that explored a whole race of people for more then 400 years. BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA was elected because he was qualified for the job. He just happened to be BLACK! In so many areas we are worst off then before he became president. But the bell has sounded! We don't walk around with our heads hung down. They can no longer label us! We are measured by the content of our character! Mr. PRESIDENT Obama, you set a standard that even the color of your skin is not a free pass from beginning to the end. You have to prove yourself. This why so many want to roll back time because they are getting rolled over! He taught me how to LOVE MYSELF! Be the best me I can be. Give honor and grace to all those who gave their lives so I can live FREE! Yes, its gotten harder but the truth is no longer dictated by the "Haves" over the "Have nots"! Thanks to the true Americans who really believe regardless of their wealth or their race! Finding a solution is harder but the rewards are greater!

Obama is the greatest orator of all time, plain and simple. He's one of the most inspiring people in American history. I trusted government during his presidency - we were in good hands.

pity it does no tell you what each speech is
The recordings are good however it needs to let you know what each speech is and when it was given.
