Few can use a work of fiction to satirize and dissect the social and political customs as efficiently as Voltaire. After Candide, Zadig is perhaps one of Voltaire's most celebrated works. Performed here by the smooth and authoritative Walter Covell, this is the story of a young man who, by most accounts, is a success.
