John has worked in consulting roles with the Medieval Academy of America, the American Historical Association, and the National Humanities Center to produce educational opportunities and curriculum for both teachers and students. As an Arkansan with a PhD in medieval history, he hopes he's uniquely positioned to comment on the joy and weirdness of teaching the middle ages in twenty-first century America.
