• S1E1 - Wisdom in the Room — What Perimenopause Actually Feels Like
    May 28 2026

Most women enter perimenopause alone. Without a map. Without anyone having told them the truth about what was coming — not just the symptoms, but the identity shift, the grief, the unexpected gifts, and the particular kind of loneliness that comes from feeling like your own body has become a stranger.

    Today, that changes.

This is the first Wisdom in the Room — the segment of Wildfire I have been looking forward to most. Three real women. One honest conversation. The kind that most of us have never been invited into.

Together we talk about what perimenopause has felt like in their bodies, their relationships, and their sense of self. What has been hard. What has surprised them. What they are learning — slowly, sometimes painfully, sometimes with unexpected grace — to trust.

This is not an expert panel. This is something more valuable than that. This is women who know their own story, and who have the courage to speak it.

Pull up a chair. The room is full.

    In this episode:

    • What it actually feels like when your body starts to change in ways nobody prepared you for
    • The relationship impacts that rarely get talked about
    • The moment each woman knew something was shifting — and what she did with that
    • What they wish someone had told them earlier
    • What perimenopause is taking — and what it is quietly giving

Wildfire is hosted by Denby Sheather — yoga medicine practitioner, somatic therapist, and shamanic healer. Find her at denbysheather.com

  • Episode 14 - Denby Interviews David Icke
    Mar 14 2021

David Icke is a man of conviction.

He’s been called every name under the sun for standing out from the crowd to share his beliefs and what he’s discovered about the way the world ticks, but after dedicating thirty years to constant research and discovering some incredible truths about our history and lineage as a species, it’s all a bit like water off a duck’s back now. He has been forged in the fires of public opinion and just like any light warrior, remains undeterred from his mission for it.

He is a messenger with a heart of gold and a clear-cut purpose and whether you believe what he shares or not, you have to give him points for tenacity.

I first found David about ten years ago when I began questioning 9/11 ( as well as climate change and world poverty to a greater extent) and have followed his work ever since, dipping in and out of various podcasts and live streams last year especially, given the circumstances. 2020 was a pivotal one in regards to my own spiritual journey - as it obviously was for billions of others also - and I have found his teachings both informative, inspiring and deeply provocative. He always inspires me to think outside “the box” as it keeps morphing and to keep pushing the boundaries of what I think I know, and in the times that we are living in now, I believe that is a vital skill and essential practice to have.

I reached out to David because I wanted to find out more about the man behind the persona that is presented to the world and what I found was a light-hearted spirit, a man who lives and breathes and is driven by his passion - with limitless compassion - and who isn’t afraid to call a spade a spade. Our chat starts with the “cult” and ends with climate change and basically covers everything else in between. I am sure it will provide you with much food for thought and remember, you can always receive or reject what is shared.

This episode was also recorded by a French director doing a documentary series on David, so parts of it might end up elsewhere! Naturally, he has been banned from every social media platform for exposing the world wide web of corruption, but you can connect with here on his website: https://davidicke.com/

It was a great privilege to share a few laughs with David and to speak with a man, who in my eyes, has given hope to so many during a time when we most of us believed all hope was lost.

    INjoy, Denby

  • Episode 13 - Denby Interviews Fiona Horne
    Feb 1 2021

It’s pretty safe to say that Fiona Horne was the first witch to come out of the (broom) closet and into the public eye in Australia. We first crossed paths over twenty years ago when I did her hair and makeup for a photo shoot to launch “Witch: A Personal Journey”; the first offering in what has become a constant stream of esoteric wiccan writings ever since.

At the time, she was already a household name as lead vocalist of the popular rock ensemble “Def FX”, but still, stepping out to present her private practices and beliefs – albeit to an already established and adoring audience – took a lot of guts. Luckily, heart and courage are qualities this conscious soul has in spades. Three decades, fourteen books, oracle cards, an autobiography, one commercial pilot’s license and a yoga teaching certification later – plus a new band called “Seawitch” – she continues to inspire both budding and seasoned witches around the world with her no-nonsense approach and down-to-earth wisdom.

She is currently promoting her latest body of work, 'Teen Magick - Witchcraft for a New Generation’ (Rockpool Publishing - Released 17 February), a compilation of historical revelations, sacred rites and healing rituals to support and inspire the next generation of (male and female) witches.

I have no doubt it will be another best seller for this modern medicine woman.

  • Episode 12 - Denby Interviews Henna Maria
    Jan 25 2021

Henna Maria is the epitome of what it means to be a spiritual activist. Perhaps the harsh climate of Finland, her native country, was good 'training ground' for the life she was destined to live. With its long winters, sub-arctic temperatures and an extended twilight from May to August where the sun doesn't set at all in the north, Finland definitely infuses its inhabitants with a unique expression of resilience, integrity and strength, essential attributes for any warrior woman worth her weight in light.

Now grounded in warmer climes in the Andalusian Mountains, Henna weaves her special blend of heart-centered practices and humanitarian projects to assist the shifting of human consciousness. As a writer, speaker, retreat leader, healer, peacemaker and advocate of Mother Earth, she has been a driving force in bringing awareness and consciousness to the vaccine debate and educating people about their health options and their rights.

When I first heard of Henna and her mission, I was immediately inspired and have followed her work and her journey ever since. It was such a privilege to connect with her to discuss body sovereignty, sacred evolution and holistic health and to discover what makes this amazing human tick.

You can find Henna via her non-profit https://www.dawnofpeace.org/; https://www.bitchute.com/channel/iKPjkSBaWUbm/ and https://www.instagram.com/hennamaria22/.

Rameka Chin, or Brother Ra as he is often affectionately called, is not your average "bloke". In fact, as a rare and real representative of the Divine Masculine heralding from Kapiti, New Zealand, a culture known for its intense yet intuitive stance, he epitomizes what it means to embody one's male and female aspects of self, without losing a shred of energetic power.

Rameka shares what he believes the brothers need to do right now in order to finally shed their inherited wounding and claim their sacred essence alongside the rising Divine Feminine.

  • Episode 8 - Denby Interviews Marie Russel
    Dec 28 2020

Marie Russel is one soul who is definitely walking, talking and living the path of Yoga.

Her whole life has been dedicated to unlearning what is un-true and relearning what is true. No stranger to challenge and grief, she has survived miscarriages, breast cancer and the loss of her first husband, to rise like the phoenix with a new love, a new family, a new business and a renewed purpose to spread love at every opportunity.

Listening to Marie share her story is not only inspiring, it invokes a deep sense of calm and re-connection to the yogic path. This is a woman guided by her heart and leading with unwavering authenticity and courage. In this soulful conversation we address the divide in the global yoga community that has emerged this year, the experiences she has personally endured and what she believes (and hopes) the future will offer us all, both on and off the mat.

You can find Marie at www.marierussel.com and on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram as Marie Russel.
