The truth is whether people are coming together for the celebration of marriage at a wedding ceremony, or saying goodbye to a loved one at a funeral ceremony, their hearts are open to God in a way they might not normally be. For those of us who are willing to show up in a similar way in people’s pivotal life moments, we will get the opportunity to serve like Jesus.
