Cruel Intentions was a 1999 classic film starring Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Reese Witherspoon in a sexy thriller. Then they tried to make it into a failed TV show that got retconned into a very bad prequel film. But they did manage to get a very young Amy Adams to play Katherine, and she is a shining star in an otherwise abysmal film.
Oh, and I guess it's a screwball comedy now?
