Very often, a crisis throws up unlikely saviors. In Goa’s battle against the Covid-19 crisis, the Goa Humanitarian Helpline was one such savior. The Helpline is a network of a diverse group of individuals, who have volunteered to form this unusually tenacious chain, which has come to the aid of thousands of folks, who had been driven to the end of their wits and food, due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
