Rumour has it that the young couple hosting this dinner (25-year-old Anu Singh and her 26-year-old boyfriend Joe Cinque) have together chosen to end their lives, and this dinner is to be their unspoken "farewell". Nobody mentions the rumour, and nobody warns Joe.
