2003年に住友生命保険に入社。8年間勤務したのち、2011年に道路建設に入社。経営企画室室長、常務、専務を歴任し、2020年に社長に就任。また、17年にはマサチューセッツ工科大学（MIT）に入学し、MBAを取得。
