About this listen

This podcast is called A City in Motion, which features conversations with engineers, planners, and urban leaders who are shaping how people move through and experience cities. I will be asking questions to leaders who have successfully implemented public transportation services around the country, as well as planners who have worked to tackle the lack of transportation in the U.S. While public transportation will be a focus of this podcast, I will delve into many areas that surround these issues, including public policy, environment, etc., that need to be addressed when looking at these topics. My name is Jeremiah LaDuca, and I am a newly graduated master’s student in civil engineering and city and regional planning from Georgia Institute of Technology. I have done research on highways and roadways, which helped me gain knowledge of why we are as reliant on these systems. As I move into my career as a civil engineer, I plan to keep working to learn more about how transportation is shaping our future and catalyzing conversation around these topics for people outside of the engineer, planner, or architecture space.
