  • Saying Yes to Catholic Education with Kyle Pietrantonio
    Feb 20 2026

This Lenten season, we are so grateful to welcome Kyle Pietrantonio, Senior Partner at Partners in Mission, to the show. Kyle's yes is rooted in a deep Catholic upbringing, a providential detour through Classics and Medieval Studies, and a leap of faith that led him straight into the heart of Catholic education.

In this episode, Kyle shares how God's hand guided him to where he is today, why Catholic schools are one of the most powerful vehicles for evangelization in our time, and what it means to truly cast out into the deep in service to our Church.

We also get to share something very dear to us here at Paloma & Fig: an exciting leadership opportunity at our very own St. Joseph's Catholic School in beautiful Macon, Georgia.

  • Can You Be Both Jewish and Catholic? w/ Dr. Angela Costley
    Feb 13 2026

It seems like an odd question to ask: can you be Jewish and Catholic? Don't you have to pick one? Well, join us as Christina Sabo has a conversation with Dr. Angela Costley, a second-generation Hebrew Catholic and theologian. The two discuss her groundbreaking book, From Sinai to Rome where Dr. Costley explores the continuity between Jewish identity and Catholic faith.

Dr. Costley is a Hebrew Catholic theologian, a graduate of Oxford, and she completed her PhD at the St Patrick’s Pontifical University. A board member of the Association of Hebrew Catholics, she is committed to deepening the Church’s awareness of its Jewish dimension and securing recognition for the unique spirituality of Hebrew Catholics.

    Key Ideas You'll Hear About:

    1. What does it mean to be Hebrew Catholic? Dr. Costley shares her personal journey of embracing both her Jewish heritage and Catholic faith simultaneously
    2. A transformative moment: How studying the Holocaust at age 16 solidified her Jewish identity and her understanding of God's providence
    3. Living as both Jew and Catholic: Why this identity isn't about choosing one over the other, but about seeing Jesus as the Jewish Messiah
