Everyday Mission: Pursue (June 21, 2026)

What if one of the most important evangelistic tools God has given you is your presence?

In this sermon, we explore how God's mission has always moved through presence. The Father sent the Son. The Son entered our world and dwelt among us. Now Jesus sends his Church into the world in the same way.

As followers of Jesus, we are called to live among people as Jesus did, building relationships, showing hospitality, and faithfully carrying Christ's presence into our everyday lives. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we join God in the work he is already doing around us.

Prayer aligns our hearts with God's mission. Pursuing people aligns our lives with God's mission.

  • Everyday Mission: Pray
    Jun 15 2026

On June 14, 2026, at The Table Church, Gabriel Roman preached from Matthew 9:35–38.

As Jesus looked upon the crowds, he was moved with compassion because they were "harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." Before Jesus sends his disciples into the harvest field, he first calls them to prayer.

This sermon explores how evangelism begins not with strategies or conversations, but with seeing people as Jesus sees them, caring for them with his compassion, and faithfully praying for them. As followers of Christ, we are invited to participate in God's mission by becoming workers in his harvest.

  • Do You Know the Voice of the Shepherd?
    Apr 26 2026

On Good Shepherd Sunday (April 26, 2026), we explore John 10:1–10 in light of Ezekiel 34:2–10 and Psalm 23.

In this passage, Jesus confronts false shepherds and reveals Himself as both the Good Shepherd and the Gate, the one who leads, protects, and gives life to the full.

But the question at the center of it all is simple and personal:

Do you know the voice of the Shepherd?

As followers of Jesus, we are constantly faced with competing voices, temptations, distractions, and false promises. This sermon calls us to recognize His voice, flee from the stranger, and walk in obedience to the One who leads us into true life.
