Alex guards Princess Samara in her palace bedroom and sings her a LULLABY hinting that the Messiah is coming to her house. Curlief overhears and appears, and he and Alex argue in GET OUT OF MY SIGHT. Curlief tries to lure Alex away with the song "COME WITH ME".

Alex successfully repels Curlief (He Who Must Not Be Named), but then leaves Samara unattended to report to 40 Authority.
