  • Episode 3: The name behind Algonquin College
    Dec 2 2025

In the final episode of the series, I explore the history of Algonquin College. From its inception as part of the Ontario College system, the college has been synonymous with its two satellite locations of Perth and Pembroke, alongside its main campus in Ottawa. I spend the second half of the episode on the naming of Algonquin College, and the significance behind the school acknowledging the unceded land it shares with the Algonquin Anishinaabe people.

  • Episode 2: The history of Carleton University
    Nov 9 2025

In this episode, I take a look at the history of Carleton University. The school originally started in the Glebe in 1942, and its primary goal was to provide education to returning WWII veterans. I retell interesting stories from Carleton's original buildings, the old Ottawa Ladies' College, and their eventual move to their current campus. The second half of the episode recounts the history of the Panda game and the rivalry between Carleton and uOttawa on the football field.
