And what that work looks like day to day, it's just a whole bunch of emails and conference calls, like any other work, and then from time to time, you're like chaining yourself to the door of the governor's office, or you're like at a lobby day with a senator whoever it is. And ironically, though, I was taking action every day, there wasn't a lot of time to like, unravel this knot of thought and feeling that was just sort of sitting there in my chest. So being able to take time to think things through and to gently unravel that knot has made me feel far more prepared than I was before to live the remainder of my life in the 21st century.
