About this listen
In this episode Alan Chambers talks to Trystan Williams.
Trystan is the Executive Lead, Primary and Specialist Academies, at the Venturers Trust where he oversees six Primary Schools and a Special School, which has two sites.
Trystan has chaired national conferences and led on many ground-breaking initiatives such as “The Extreme Classroom” and been the subject of numerous documentaries filmed and aired by the BBC, both nationally and globally. He has also achieved recognition at government level as a National Leader of Education, for his commitment to the highest standards of care and education for vulnerable young people.
In a really interesting discussion, they cover subjects including the effects Covid-19 has had on children and staff, their mental health and their emotional well-being, and Trystan’s thoughts on the Government’s advice for schools during lockdown.
