Joel Guy, Jr., 28, began plotting to murder his parents after they told him they were planning to retire and would no longer be financially supporting him. Lisa & Joel Guy, Sr were murdered at their home in Knoxville, Tennessee after their Thanksgiving weekend gathering with family.

As smart as he thinks he is, I bet Joseph Daniels wishes he had never driven to the police station that day to pump them for information!

Tennessee Sex Offender Registry - In Tennessee you can visit https://sor.tbi.tn.gov/home to learn facts about who is required to register as a ‘s o’ in the state, How long someone remains on the registry.  At the top of the home page there are options to Search for a particular offender, map offenders, sign up for email alerts and for safety & education. Click on the Safety & Education tab it takes you to the U.S. Department of Justice page with tons of info on noticing signs of abuse, abusive behaviors and what to do if you notice any of these things. It has some really valuable resources for not only parents but anyone who may have a young child in your life.  It would be helpful for any of us to become familiar with the signs of abuse and abusive behaviors.
