Hey friends! On this episode of ALRH I had the pleasure of interviewing stellar immigration attorney, Tsui Yee. Tsui H. Yee is the founder of Law Offices of Tsui H. Yee P.C., and has been practicing immigration law since 1999.  She represents clients in family- and employment-based petitions and applications; removal (deportation) defense; asylum; and other immigration matters.   

Ms. Yee graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Tufts University.  She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York; the Second Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Since 2016, Tsui has been selected to New York Metro Super Lawyers in the field of immigration law. She was also named one of the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business by the Asian American Business Development Corporation in 2016.  In 2012 Ms. Yee was the recipient of the Dena Coye Outstanding Woman Entrepreneurship Award from the National Minority Business Council, Inc.  She is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of New York, and the New York Inn of Court. 

Prior to forming the Law Offices of Tsui H. Yee P.C. in February 2017, Ms. Yee was a founding partner of two immigration firms, Guerrero Yee LLP in 2011 and Yee & Durkin, LLP in 2005.  A proud native New Yorker, Ms. Yee was born in Manhattan and raised in Little Italy/Chinatown.

On the latest episode of ARLH, I had the pleasure of interviewing the amazing Aras Toker. Aras grew up in Istanbul, Turkey as an Armenian and immigrated to the U.S when he was 18 to further his college education. Aras is a proud immigrant, an entrepreneur, and a business development veteran with over 15+ years of experience in sales and community building in startups and large corporations. 

He is a connector, enjoys relationship building, and truly cares about people's mental and physical health. After reversing his chronic health condition by lifestyle interventions, he co-founded a digital health startup, connecting chronically ill patients with integrative medicine practitioners. He is recently working on a community focused mental resilience program for workplaces called Peace of Mind. Aras studied Math-Economics at UCLA for his undergrad and got his MBA in Sport Management from University of San Francisco. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.

On this week's episode of ARLH I had the pleasure of interviewing Slava, aka Ivan, Siderman. Slava is a Russian born Award winning Adult and Horror filmmaker with a vast library of stories of his travels with his parents from the Soviet Union to United States during the late 1970’s Cold War. His journey includes stories of anti-semitism and the hardships of assimilating from one country so different from his birth land.
