In the children's story Amber the Orange Fairy, two young friends named Rachel and Kirsty are on a mission to rescue the seven Rainbow Fairies who were banished from their home. A wicked curse by Jack Frost has turned Fairyland into a cold, colorless place, scattering the sisters across a human island. While exploring a beach, the girls discover a large, mysterious scallop shell that hums with a tiny voice. By using a magical golden feather to tickle the shell, they release Amber, who has been trapped inside since the spell was cast. The grateful fairy learns that her sister Ruby has already been saved and is eager to reunite with her family. The girls agree to help Amber reach safety, continuing their secret quest to restore vibrant colors to the magical realm.
