America is a Christian nation. The America First Report intends to remind the world of this because in order to be truly "America First" we need to remember that honoring God is our primary path as a nation. The political and cultural landscapes are treacherous. We cannot successfully navigate them without our Lord and Savior at the top of mind in all things. We have been blessed by being in the greatest nation to ever exist. We must not let that status slip away because of anti-Christian beliefs that have become far too normalized in America.© Copyright Discern Media Politics & Government Spirituality

  • Will Los Angeles Vote for What’s Best for LA or Out of Loyalty to the Democrat Party?
    May 12 2026

Los Angeles voters face a question on June 2 that has nothing to do with national politics and everything to do with whether the city survives the decade. The June 2 primary is winner-take-all if any candidate clears fifty percent plus one vote. Spencer Pratt, the second-generation Angeleno and Palisades Fire victim currently polling in second place behind embattled incumbent Karen Bass, has a narrow but real path to that threshold. Forty percent of the electorate is still undecided. The math is sitting there waiting for someone to do it.

And here is the uncomfortable question hovering over every honest voter in the city: Is Los Angeles in such good shape that loyalty to the Democrat Party should outweigh loyalty to the city itself?

  • 3 Takeaways From California's Gubernatorial Debate
    May 7 2026

On Tuesday, CNN held another California Gubernatorial debate. Some of the candidates were awful, especially Antonio Villaraigosa and Katie Porter. Others did okay.

Xavier Becerra and Steve Hilton looked the best. We learned three things from the debate:

    1. Legacy media is going to let Becerra off the hook for his various scandals.

    2. Katie Porter let it slip that illegal aliens are replacing the American citizens who are leaving.

    3. Steve Hilton hit Becerra hard, but perhaps too late in the debate.

It will be an interesting four weeks until the election on June 2.

  • White House Quietly Backpedaling on Anthropic as Powerful AI Beats Others
    Apr 29 2026

The Trump administration is preparing to climb down off a tree it spent two months sawing at. According to Axios reporting, the White House is drafting an executive action that would carve out a path for federal agencies to resume using Anthropic’s artificial intelligence systems, including the company’s most advanced model, Mythos, despite the Pentagon’s earlier designation of Anthropic as a “supply chain risk to national security.”

One source involved in the discussions described the maneuvering, saying the White House is looking for a way to “save face and bring em back in.”
