During this episode I will be interviewing Nanette Sandiford who will discuss Shamanism as a Way of Life.

About Nanette

From a young age Nanette has been connected to the spirit world and lived life in a state of spiritual openness. Her natural connection to her spirit guides developed in her late teens, around the same time that she began to practice Buddhism and Yoga. She decided that she wanted to share her abilities and create a space to uplift others and encourage them to live authentically, confidently and from a place of love. The beauty of her yoga practice brought her to energy work and in her early 20's she studied the Japanese arts of Shiatsu and Reiki. As she began to train and develop skills in multiple traditions, she recognised that they had many similarities and core beliefs. Having built deep connections with her spirit guides, the ancient tradition of Shamanism called out to her. Upon studying and practicing Shamanism she discovered her true passion, which now forms the foundation of her work.

Nanette has trained with many Shamanic and Yoga teachers over the years and sat with plant medicines to deepen her insights.

There is so much richness, pleasure, and beauty in life so as a medicine woman, and vessel for Great Spirit’s healings to run through, Nanette’s vision and goal is to support and help humanity evolve into its best version - a sanctuary where we can all feel safe and be ourselves.

I was born in Havana, Cuba; lived in Madrid, Spain as a child before migrating to the United

States. I grew up in New York City and have lived in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil since 1999. I

Cornell University in New York.

I am an Usui Reiki Master since 1998, and has extensive training and practice of varied

Holistic transformational therapies. I am Divine Feminine Priestess, Ancestral Healer,

Spiritual Mentor, Life Coach, Radionic Station Board Operator, Soul Guide - Akashic

Records; TAMEANA vibrational therapist; MUNAY-KI Initiation Facilitator and Intuitive

Healer.

As an Ancestral Healer and Family & Systemic Constellation Facilitator I incorporate life

long and past life wisdom and pure love frequency as the means to transgenerational

healing in the morphogenetic field. Ancestral Integration and Healing is not only a therapy

for me but rather a way of life as an African Matrix Ifá and Candomblé Priestess and a

constituent of the Ancestral Spirits Traditions of Ilê Axipá Ancestral community in

Salvador, Bahia, Brazil and as a Neo-Shaman of varied traditions of the Americas.
