About this listen

We all walk the same earth, but we don’t all see the same world. I invite you to step behind the curtain of a different life. From the fitness master and jiu-jitsu expert to the quiet philosopher, I sit down with people who have found a way to see light where others see shadows. They bring their unique skill sets; I bring the curiosity. Together, we uncover the specific habits, mindsets, and 'hidden codes' they use to build a life of radical optimism. The door is open, and the conversation is just getting started. Are you ready to see what they see?2026 Anthony Thomas Hygiene & Healthy Living Psychology Psychology & Mental Health Self-Help Success

I share how becoming a dad helped me drop the armor—becoming more emotionally open while stepping into leadership with greater strength and clarity. We talk about trauma from Matt’s nonprofit work in Ciudad Juárez, rebuilding faith after burnout and PTSD, and why solitude, mentorship, and marriage have shaped this “summer season” of Matt's purpose at 47.

This episode is about alignment—doing the inner work so you can rise into who you were created to be.

Tune in for an honest conversation on resilience, growth, and building a life that actually matters.

What if your passion goes against your parents' values? How do you decide between pleasing the very people who raised you, and the spark that's inside you that they just don't understand?

In episode 3, Anthony sat with Jack Iverson Unger to uncover exactly how Jack was able to decide and continue to pursue his love of growing Cannabis, all while using many of the very skills his parents taught him on the farm he was raised on just outside of Portland, Oregon.

    May 24 2022

Does your Physical Therapist live in a van… down by the river? If yours doesn’t, I know a guy!

In today’s episode, I’d like to introduce you to Dan Walden, a Licensed Physical Therapist and certified Stoke-master, who is stepping away from medical contracts to prioritize his passions. Not only is he a mental health advocate, but this mountain man also wants to purposefully coach you in creating a more connected, intentional life that you’re stoked about. From professional wakeboarding to mountain biking and surfing, he’s intentionally chosen to build and lead an experience-centric lifestyle. Today, we discuss how Dan has enhanced his lifestyle through lived experiences, adventure, building community through van life, and how failure and novelty can redirect your journey.

Originally from Tennessee, Dan Walden has been van-lifing it cross-country for 6+ years with his gentle Golden Retriever, Coop. He’s a Physical Therapist by trade but has committed to the call of lifestyle performance coaching, in order to connect with and impact more people daily.
