  • Product of circumstance

I expected to interview Travis Luke about his summer camp...

Instead, we ended up having one of the most honest, REALEST conversations I've had in a long time.

We talked about why some kids believe they're "grown" before they're even teenagers, what a 13-year-old's dream job revealed about the adults around her right here in Albany, why South Georgia parents are often just trying to survive, and why people with ordinary 9-to-5 jobs may be exactly who young people need to see.

Whether you agree with every opinion or not, this conversation challenged me to think differently.

Here's a snippet of that interview. Listen with an open mind... and let me know what part stayed with you.

  • When did we stop speaking to each other?
    Jul 6 2026

After a trip back home to The Bahamas, something really stayed with me. Everywhere I went, people spoke to each other: Good morning, good afternoon, good day — even strangers passing by on the street.

It made me think, when did we stop doing that? Or did we truly stop?

Joined by guests from different backgrounds and perspectives, we discuss how social media, busy lives and changing communities have influenced the way we communicate. We also explore the importance of kindness, the breaking that people are experiencing in life and the beauty in giving one another grace.

Whether you’re listening on your morning commute, at home with family, or simply looking for thoughtful conversation, we invite you to join us.

What do you think? Did we stop speaking to each other or do we need to return back to the basics?

The conversation doesn’t end here, continue it with us on social media and in future episodes on facebook @ Ashanti Isaac.

  • What my mother taught me: Love, Relationships and God
    Dec 31 2025

In this episode, I sit down with my mother to talk about what she taught me about love, relationships, and God. We reflect on the importance of open communication in our mother–daughter relationship, her 40-year marriage, and what sustained it through the years.

We also share honestly about the pain of her watching me walk through marriage, divorce, and healing—and how love extends beyond one person to those who truly love you. My mother speaks about raising me to be a wife by first teaching me how to be Christ’s wife, and how that foundation shaped my journey.

We end the conversation reflecting on where we are now: a place of peace, restored love, family, and gratitude.
