It is easy to feel like we need to filter our personalities just to fit in.

    Here is the thing. Confidence does not come from how many likes you get or how many people follow you. True confidence is about feeling secure in who you are, online and offline. And that can feel impossible when social media constantly feeds us images of unrealistic perfection. So how do we break free from that trap and build confidence that is real?

    First, let us talk about social media for what it is. It is a highlight reel, not real life. No one is posting their self-doubt, bad hair days, or moments of failure. If you ever feel like everyone else has it all figured out except you, remind yourself that you are seeing a tiny fraction of their reality.
