Avery's bio: Avery lives in Los Angeles where she is a Policy Director for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She has worked in the field of education for 15 years and is herself a forever learner having earned two master’s degrees (MPP & MA in Special Education) and a doctorate (EdD). Avery most enjoys spending quality time with her husband, David, and her two children, Henry (almost 4) and Maya (2). As a family, they love rooting for the Dodgers and listening to live music.
