🎙️ℂ𝕠𝕝𝕕 𝔹𝕣𝕖𝕨𝕖𝕕 𝕋𝕣𝕦𝕥𝕙🎙️ Ahh habits, the lovely things that we do, or don’t do. Where do they even start? Such a common and good question, typically habitually as a child. We often mimic our surrounding influences, and that leads us through life, but sometimes we really take hold to some bad habit. Man do some die slowly as well. — this week we talk about some of those habits, how you can overcome and change them, and create new healthy boundaries with habits you choose to implement. Like accepting or asking help for instance, something we both are terrible about doing let alone allowing, due to our stubborn nature we’ve had since childhood. Why? Well sometimes generational acceptance models this, and you simply follow suit, which is true for us. We grew independent, as we were raised by independent individuals, and it just seemed like the right thing to do. Until later on realizing it also can become a hindrance, which makes it one to reevaluate, and we have. — hard part is setting new healthy boundaries, especially when it comes to family, and no longer operating the way the family has for years. It can feel isolating, but it is a quick way to reveal anyone’s true intentions for you as a person and how you choose to show up for yourself in life.
