About this listen

Football and adventure in South Korea. Follow Andrew, Mike, and Luke as we explore the beautiful game below the 38th parallel. We’ve watched every club, in every stadium — by bus, by train, by car, sometimes even by plane — chasing our teams across this remarkable country. Korea might be known for dance and baseball, for film and music, for beauty trends and Squid Game. But there’s another story here. We’re not professionals. We’re not experts. We’re definitely not comedians. We’re football fans — introducing you to the Korean game, one ground at a time.

  • K1 Preview Round 7
    Apr 9 2026
The biggest match of the season in K League 1 takes place this Saturday, 14:00, when surprise leaders FC Seoul welcome defending champions Jeonbuk Hyundai to Sangam. A win for the home team will open up a five-point lead on Jeonbuk. At the opposite end, Bucheon FC will look to get back to winning ways when they visit out-of-sorts Gwangju FC. Incheon host Ulsan for the first time in 2 years, and Anyang will look to build on their solid display last weekend against winless Gimcheon Sangmu. Those matches, and more, preview by Andrew and Luke. #kleague #football #k리그 #soccer #kleague1 #k리그1 #podcast #korea #footballpodcast #footballpodcasts

  • K2 Preview Round 7
    Apr 7 2026
Andrew and Mike enjoyed the lamb skewers to deliver a K League 2 preview for this coming weekend. The biggest match is, without doubt, the high-scoring duo of Suwon FC and Daegu meeting in Castle Park. Elsewhere on Saturday, Paju Frontier get to prove their promotion credentials when Seoul E-Land visit in the meeting of two form sides. Busan will stay top with a win over Yongin, and Suwon welcome Gimpo. Pointless Gimhae travel to Asan. #kleague #football #k리그 #soccer #kleague2 #k리그2 #podcast #korea #koreafootball

  • The Week that Was April 7th
    Apr 5 2026
Andrew, Mike, and Luke return to gloss over all the key matches in both K League 1 and 2 last weekend. Mike went to three matches, including the opening day of the WK League. We also look at the practice of celebrating in front of fans, and whether big clubs - namely Suwon Samsung - always need to do it, especially against brand-new clubs. #kleague #football #k리그 #soccer #kleague1 #kleague2 #podcast #korea
