Reis made history with her acclaimed performance as Detective Evangeline Navarro in HBO’s True Detective: Night Country, earning historic Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics' Choice nominations, becoming the first Native American woman ever nominated for an acting Emmy, and elevating Indigenous representation on the world’s biggest awards stages.
