Episode 8 - “COVID-19”

Well this has been a week trying to make this episode happen. My original guest Downtown Bobby Brown had to have emergency surgery on his neck. Then due to technical difficulties with power outages in Hawaii we had to reschedule with Lyssa Chapman. My wife Alex is a surgery coordinator for general surgery at a large hospital in Colorado, so I wanted to get her perspective on Covid-19. Alex and I talk Covid from a professional point of view and how it’s affected our family. Her and I touch on Vaccines, the short term side-effects, and how living with a husband who’s chosen not to be vaccinated. We touch on Covid numbers in the hospital, the disease and traveling, and some tips from what the CDC is recommending. Lastly we get her opinion on what the future could look like and how dealing with Covid could look in the years to come.

Episode 6 - “Round 2 with the Dog”

On this week’s episode, Dog the Bounty Hunter and I go for round 2! With Dog being a newly married man, we cover a little about the wedding and his new bride Francie Chapman. Dog also gives us advice on how to handle family members dealing with addiction. We take a trip down memory lane and hear about Dog’s intense battle with the intimidating mountain of a man “Pikes Peak.” Since Dog is the greatest bounty hunter of all time, with over 8,000 arrests, I get Dog’s opinion  on how we can take down criminals and not have unnecessary deaths. We couldn’t have Dog on and not hear from him about how he got his “big break” on TV! Dog shares how he became the infamous Dog the Bounty Hunter and some of his behind the scenes stories in the beginning of his career. He gives a quick shout out to the show and finally Dog and I get sentimental and discuss the close relationship we’ve built over the past year and a half and why he chose me to join his bounty hunting team.

Micah is also the chief of MCK9 Search Unit in North Alabama and owner / trainer of McCreary K9 Facility located in Scottsboro, AL. Micah’s the father of two girls and married to his lovely wife, Lauren McCreary. On my rookie night out on “Meth Mountain” we bring out Micah and his K-9 unit to assist in the arrest. We discuss how he keeps a level head during intense situations and how he keeps a close watch for himself and his dog. We also cover some dog training tips, cover a commercial break, talk about how difficult it is to be a husband, father, business owner, public servant and avid member at his church, balance them all and be able to be winning in all those areas.
