Went to Christian church for the first time in about 7 years because I've been wanting something more. Since I insist on knowing everything about everything, of course I had a million questions but am too embarrassed to ask at church...so I called a Christian hotline.

I didn't grow up with any sort of knowledge about church and have never read the bible because it was like Shakespeare to me.

I have been to Christian church sporadically throughout my adulthood (my second tattoo ever was a cross on my pinky) and even volunteered in children's ministries so this wasn't completely out of left field.

I spoke with her for an hour and a half. Talk about an angel.

• from breaking up with a narcissist after 7+ years after giving up my sports reporting dreams, to trying to un-alive myself, then moving to the same city as my only family member in the state. Then taking in my little brother less than a year after that because his mom was a prostitute and now I've been unemployed for months due to my online posting.
