  • 017 Make it Crunchy: Witchy Intuition, Bronco Sidewalks & Body-Image Rebellion
    Mar 18 2026

In this crunchy, witchy episode of Big Witches Go Wild!, we kick things off with a working mic, democracy jeans, and the saga of my chipped tooth, beloved holistic dentist, and a Bronco Sport sidewalk mission through Seattle traffic to make it to the appointment. (I love some good Broncin' around!)

From there we dive into kid chaos (benzo-fueled tiny drunk uncle behavior, forehead stitches, surprise surgeries) and the exhausted joy of ending the day with, “I kept them alive.” BOY MOMS, WE SEE YOU.

We get witchy with a claircognizant hit that pulled me to Thing Two’s unannounced dance performance, and how we use intuition and pendulums to make real-life decisions—when we’re grounded and hydrated.

Then we go straight for the throat of patriarchal beauty and dress codes: teenage body dysmorphia, our parents’ thinness vows, nylons-over-merit feedback at work, and why we’re done sacrificing our bodies and time to the male gaze. With a little Susan Sontag, a nod to the Morrigan, and our new motto—“fucking make it crunchy every time”—we invite you to be a wrench in the spokes, host your own witch party, and join us as we witch out and burn down what needs burning.

See you witches next week! Xo

  • 016 Titty Witches, Wand Pokes & the Call of the Crows
    Mar 12 2026
In this latest episode of Big Witches Go Wild!, we lean all the way into the Mars-ruled energy of Tuesday—our favorite “momentum day.” From tacos as a love language to flirting as a misunderstood life skill, we explore how playful, expressive energy can sometimes get misread, especially when you’re a naturally enthusiastic Enneagram 7. Along the way we share ridiculous weekend stories, including an accidental wand poke during a home improvement project, a spontaneous “titty witches” tattoo night, and a Beauty-by-Donna situation that may have left one of our favorite witches a little too… snatched. On the witchy side of things, we dive into symbolism and archetypes that have been showing up for us lately. Heather shares a series of timely crow encounters that feel deeply connected to her and her three sisters, the fall of the patriarchy, and to the energy of the The Morrígan (hello themes of destruction & sovereignty!). Ashley explores her long-standing fascination with Cleopatra and discovers a wild synchronicity: Cleopatra died on Ashley’s birthday millennia ago. Naturally, this leads us into conversations about archetypes, timing, and the strange little signals life sometimes sends. Underneath the laughter and storytelling, we also talk about bigger life themes—friendship shifts, Saturn-level growth moments, protecting our energy, and building lives we actually love. From dreams of wand-making merch and green-witch days for kids to witchy retreats and travel adventures, we’re imagining what Big Witches experiences might look like in the future—while remembering that it helps to occasionally eat food (hello adrenal fatigue), take care of our human bodies, and enjoy the magic of right where we are. See you next week, big witches!!! XO

  • 015 Let’s Hag Out: Payless Shoes, Patriarchy, and the Power of ‘Fuck No’
    Mar 5 2026

This episode of Big Witches Go Wild! is a love letter to every woman who is done being the “good girl,” the quiet supporter of broken systems, and the endlessly productive human doing.

It’s about the moment you stop apologizing, start saying a full-bodied “fuck no,” and step fully into your witch, your rage, your rest, and your power.

From childhood shame to modern patriarchy to Blood Moon medicine, this conversation traces the journey from being quietly shaped by the system to consciously refusing to play its game.

We begin with full messy-hair, haggard-witch energy: sick kids, brutal tooth drama, antibiotics and probiotics, and spelling bee nostalgia complete with a homemade bumblebee dress, and memories of wearing the same outfit for multiple school pictures several years in a row, nevermind the busted tennis shoes. Those stories pull us into a deeper conversation about class, appearance, and shame— (hello, Patriarchy!!) Payless shoes, teasing that resulted in ripping shoes apart, the experience of moving into a giant unfinished “orphanage” house, while working paper routes and saving for Shopko jeans.

From there we zoom into the present: mothering neurodivergent kids inside broken systems. We cover a flurry of email advocacy with a local school district around inequities in the school choice process for students with IEPs. We talk about the invisible labor of advocacy, the importance of belonging and strong school leadership, and how families without time, language equality, or resources often get left behind.

To regulate our nervous systems in the middle of it all, we wander into EMDR-style practices, binaural beats, tarot pulls, and rooms full of silver-haired witches quietly doing democracy work through Indivisible.org—writing postcards, organizing, and holding the line.

Then we go hard at patriarchy and beauty culture: calling out a workplace “mantrum,” setting firm boundaries around men at work commenting on our bodies, and unpacking how modern beauty standards are deeply entangled with patriarchy and, as it turns out, pedophilia. Eyes are open on this issue and there's no going back!

We give a shout-out this week to the brilliant online educator Therese, and her work on witches and whores, (links below); we joyfully reclaim the word “hag,” invite you to “hag out” with us, and name this Blood Moon season as a portal to release over-exertion, perfectionism, and the exhausting identity of being a human doing.

If you’ve ever felt the pull to stop performing, stop apologizing, and start living from your voice, your intuition, and your power— this episode is for you!!

Love you bigtime. See you next week. xo
