  • Borderlines Building Community
    Jan 11 2026

What is community? A community is a group of people who are connected by shared characteristics—such as location, interests, values, identity, or experiences—and who interact with one another, often providing mutual support, belonging, and a sense of connection or responsibility to the group.

There's nothing more important, especially in the world right now, than having safe people who have your back and being safe people who have other people's backs. In this episode we talk what is community, how to build it, what gets in the way, and what community means to YOU!

  • Eldest Daughter Syndrome Feat. Kayleigh
    Jan 4 2026

What is eldest daughter syndrome? While it's not a clinical term it can be defined as an informal, non-clinical term used to describe a common pattern of emotional and behavioral experiences often reported by oldest daughters in families. It is not a medical or DSM diagnosis, but a social and psychological concept. It typically refers to the experience of taking on excessive responsibility, caregiving, or emotional labor at a young age, sometimes at the expense of one’s own needs. Kayleigh is here to talk about her experience having 6 siblings and often being the caretaker to the oldest three that she grew up with. Thank you Kayleigh for joining us on the pod!
