Bono the Good Boy: Episode 5 — Bono and the Tax Collector
A crowded tax booth, a surprised collector, and a dinner party that changes everything! In this episode of Bono the good boy, our faithful companion follows his Master to the city of Capernaum to call an unlikely new follower.
Directly inspired by Matthew 9:9–13, Mark 2:13–17, and Luke 5:27–32, this story is recorded by Dr. Kaitlyn Kulda—a developmental psychologist, Christian, and mom. It is designed to introduce children to the warm embrace of Christ by showing that Jesus came to call everyone to His table—especially the "lost and the least".
Inside this episode:
- The Invitation: Witnessing the moment Jesus authoritatively tells a tax collector, "Come now and follow Me".
- The Feast: A joyous evening where Bono scoops up scraps of flatbread and cheese while Jesus eats with those others used to ignore.
- The True Mission: Hearing the Teacher explain that those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
This podcast is great for toddlers and young children on car rides, quiet time, story time, and all the time listening. Whether you are at home or on the go, Bono’s adventures bring the Gospel to life for the whole family.
