    On the final Bound of the series, we meet Kira, the Boxer x Staffie, and her owner, Roy.

    Kira is a very affectionate dog who loves a pully toy! She didn't always know how to play but once she settled with Roy and his partner, Charlotte, she soon realised how fun pulling on a toy is!

    Even though they never met, Kira's story is intertwined with Vinnie's, who was Roy's first ever dog. Vinnie was a Boxer x Alsatian and was Roy's canine soul mate. Roy lost Vinnie in 2018 and it's evident that it still impacts him to this day. Vinnie led a wonderful life with Roy and Charlotte, and now Kira is experiencing the same.

    We also speak to Roy about his cancer diagnosis and how that has impacted him and how much of a support that Kira has been. When Roy sits down with his guitar, Kira is right there in her bed as his Number One fan.

    Today on Bound we meet Rafa the Beagle, Luca and Podenco x Labrador and Toffee the Podenco x Boxer, and their owner Jo.

    These are three very different dogs with very different personalities. Rafa and Luca are the senior members of the pack and Toffee is just a youngster.

    Jo sadly lost her partner and found support in her beloved previous dog, Manya.

    This led to Jo uprooting her life in Spain and moving her and the dogs back to Scotland. The dogs are very much enjoying the transition.

    On this episode of Bound, we meet Springer Spaniel x Staffie, Charlie, and Sprocker Spaniels, Sandy and Jamie, and their owner, Yvonne. Yvonne is also joined by her 13-year-old Granddaughter, Taylor.

    Charlie is 15 years old and Sandy and Jamie are sisters from different litters. Sandy is two and Jamie is just nine months.

    Yvonne is in a dog-oriented family and truly loves her dogs. We also hear about Staffie cross, Nibbles, who meant, and still means, the world to Yvonne, and to Charlie too.

    Yvonne was diagnosed with breast cancer around 10 years ago and Nibbles was more than just a support over that time.

    This week on Bound, we meet Yorkshire Terrier, Lucy, and her owners Kelly and Sharon.

    Lucy is a wee wonder dog who raises amazing amounts of money for charity. Lucy has walked the West Highland Way (over 90 miles!) and endured other walking challenges. Lucy has also forced Kelly and Sharon in to running marathons and taking on other heroic events.

    Kelly's brother and sister-in-law lost their daughter Ivy at birth and Lucy raises money for a baby loss charity in Ivy's memory.

    This episode was recorded before the sad passing of Scottish comedian, Janey Godley. There is mention of Janey and her dog, Honey, in the podcast. We send our deepest condolences to Janey's family, friends and Honey at this very sad time.

    Carena has always had an incredibly close relationship with dogs. The first love of her life was a Collie called Yogi.

    Miss Darcy is a loving girl who is obsessed with her toys!

    Miss Darcy and her Collie companion, Flash, were like two peas in a pod. Their connection was instant and they did everything together. They shared toys, played in the snow and went for mad zoomies around the house.

    Unfortunately, Flash passed away unexpectedly which was a shock to Carena, her husband, Stu, and Miss Darcy.

    Carena has some very wise words about the loss of a beloved pet and amazing insights in to our relationship with dogs.
