  • Six Weeks At Ryder
    Jun 3 2014
In the summer of 2005, Karen Gonzalez and her husband receive the one phone call every parent dreads: their beautiful daughter, Bianca, who risked injury every time she competed in equestrian jumping instead has been in a horrific motorcycle accident, and she hadn't been wearing a helmet. As an R.N. working surgery, Karen is only too aware of the traumatic brain damage that can come from this type of accident—if the victim even survives. Suddenly it is her child receiving extensive life-saving measures, being taken into emergency surgery, and then fighting the day to day battle to even pronounce a word or move her limbs. They quickly exhaust their options in their local Kansas town, and Karen takes extraordinary measures to have Bianca admitted to Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, Florida. The six weeks that Bianca and she are there is eye-opening and life-changing. In the midst of her own troubles, Karen still finds time for the stories of the other patients residing there.

    May 20 2014
Combining the latest advances in neuroscience, neuroplasticity, computer technology, mathematics and physics, Brain State Technologies® offers a neuro-technology that helps people of all ages and conditions to overcome cognitive, emotional, and physical challenges, and enhance overall performance and well-being. A typical series of sessions takes place over the course of about one week, beginning with a non-invasive assessment that identifies brain pattern disturbances, typically a result of an earlier emotional or physical trauma. The result is a Brainwave Assessment that identifies opportunities to re-balance brain patterns. Based on the individual’s assessment, protocols are identified (from a bank of more than 900 protocols) that will re-calibrate brainwave functioning.

Cortical Integrative Therapy CIT has been successful in treating a wide range of painful and debilitating conditions including: ADD/ADHD; apraxia, ataxia, chronic pain; memory difficulties; movement disorders; Parkinson’s disease; Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy RSD/Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome CRPS; RLS; sciatica; Traumatic Brain Injury; tremors; and vertigo, balance, and gait problems. Because our treatment methodology stimulates brain cells to increase their size and efficiency, thereby promoting the formation of pathways which facilitate the transfer of information throughout the brain. The affected area of the brain and overall brain function are improved without medication or surgery. The duration of treatment will vary based on a host of other individual factors.
