  • Young, Female, Navigating Modern Ireland Today
    Jun 16 2026

This week on Bras Off & Breathe, I'm joined by the brilliant Edel Laws, a young woman currently navigating college life in Ireland and sharing her honest experiences of growing up female in today's world.

We dive into the realities of sexism, misogyny, gender stereotypes, and the pressures young women still face, both online and offline. While Ireland has changed dramatically over the past few decades, has equality truly caught up with the lived experiences of young women? Or are outdated attitudes simply showing up in new ways?

This is a thoughtful, eye-opening conversation about identity, confidence, empowerment, and what it really means to be a young woman in Ireland today.

  • Midlife, Menopause & Momentum
    Jun 9 2026

This week, I'm delighted to welcome Jennifer Drum, founder of the Ladies Let's Talk Collective, award-winning women's advocate, and passionate voice for midlife wellness. Jennifer has built a supportive community where women can openly discuss health, confidence, and life transitions, drawing from her own experiences, including her HRT journey in her 40s. Through her platform, she inspires thousands of women to embrace change, prioritize their wellbeing, and find strength in connection. I'm excited to hear her story, the lessons she's learned along the way, and the impact she's making in the lives of women every day.

  • How One Family’s Grief Became a Lifeline for Thousands
    Jun 2 2026

Fiona Tuomey is the founder and CEO of HUGG (Healing Untold Grief Groups), a national Irish charity that supports people bereaved by suicide.

    Her work is deeply personal.

In 2016, Fiona lost her 11-year-old daughter, Milly, to suicide. In the aftermath, she actively searched for support from others who truly understood that specific kind of grief, but couldn’t find any peer-led groups in Ireland.
