  • Bucky Godbolt is a longtime sports radio host who has been a fixture in Austin media since the mid-1990s. Before joining radio, Bucky coached running backs at Boston College, the University of Illinois, and the University of Texas, giving him a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective on the game. Across Central Texas, he’s known not only as a trusted voice in sports, but also as a mentor, friend, and philanthropist who has made a lasting impact on the Central Texas community.

Brad Kellner (BK):



  • Brad Kellner, known as BK, is a proud University of Texas graduate with a degree in broadcast journalism. He has spent more than a decade working as a sports radio host across Austin and Houston, building a reputation for informed analysis and engaging conversation. In addition to co-hosting Bucky & BK, BK is the host of Locked On Longhorns and is deeply plugged into everything Texas sports.

Congrats to Lifetime Longhorns Byron Murphy, Michael Dickson, and Quandre Diggs on winning a ring! BK is mad that the kicker didn't win MVP, while The Buck is mad that Joe Montana couldn't land the coin on tails. Later in the hour, we recap Texas Basketball's escape against Chris Beard and Ole Miss. Are the Horns tournament bound? Tune in!

    Hour 2 begins with some Super Bowl randomness before the guys rank their favorite commercials from last night's broadcast. Who took home the commercial title? Then, some breakdown on the Longhorns' new QB commit for the Class of 2027. What is Steve Sarkisian getting with Ty Knutson out of Smithson Valley?
