About this listen
Within the Buddhist communities, there are two different stances regarding activism. There is one that is very aligned with social justice activism. The followers of this practice have a mission to serve others. However, there are other lines of thought that are in alignment with social justice values, however while they will not be protesting they won't act like nothing happened. They will address it during Sangha.
So is the first group arguing with reality?
Join me as I discuss:
- The definition of attachment
- What are the five remembrances?
- Deciding not to accept death
- What are you willing to accept?

This podcast is presented by Spiritual Provocation. Katie B., PhD went from foster kid to Bay Area resident. She is unboxable (as in, good luck trying to fit her into these tightly constrained categories) and has zero interest in the status quo and how things "have always been done" that are really just fear and scarcity with a pretty bow on top.
Having faced and overcome significant challenges early on in life, Katie dwells in possibilities, not limitations, and is dedicated to doing her part to help improve the human condition. Ready to work with Katie B.? Contact her here or on her website: spiritualprovocation.com!!
