By the Bi is a podcast for curious minds and open hearts—whether you’re bi, non-monogamous, kinky, or just wondering what it’s like to step outside the hetero-norm. Hosted by a bisexual expat couple, Bradford and Angela, based in Sydney, we dive into real conversations about bisexuality, swinging, open relationships, BDSM, and the messy, beautiful realities of non-traditional love and sex.

Every episode blends personal stories with thoughtful discussions, listener questions, interviews with guests from around the globe, and the occasional cocktail-fuelled confession. We don’t have all the answers—but we’re not afraid to ask the questions your vanilla friends won’t touch. Whether you’re exploring your own sexuality, seeking practical advice, or just want to feel seen, By the Bi offers a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone across the spectrum. So pull up a seat, pour yourself something tasty, and let’s talk about the things no one else will. Oh, and by the bi… we’re damn glad you’re here.

  • 447 - Is Pride Still Relevant
    Jun 10 2026

Every June, the world turns rainbow. Companies update their logos, Pride festivals fill city streets, and social media overflows with messages of support. For many LGBTQ+ people, it's a celebration of how far we've come. For others, it raises some uncomfortable questions.

Has Pride become too commercial? Has it become less political? Has it become more inclusive—or less? And where do bisexual, kinky, non-monogamous, and other often-overlooked communities fit into modern Pride?

In this Pride Month episode, Bradford and Angela explore the evolution of Pride from protest to party, discuss the rise of rainbow capitalism, tackle the perennial kink-at-Pride debate, and examine why bisexual people can still feel invisible in spaces that are supposed to celebrate the entire LGBTQ+ community.

Whether you see Pride as a protest, a celebration, a memorial, or simply an excuse to wear too much glitter, join us as we ask: has Pride lost its edge, or is this simply what progress looks like?

As always, expect thoughtful discussion, a few strong opinions, and probably at least one tangent.

  • 446 - Discover Your Relationship Style
    Apr 29 2026

Angela and Bradford get delightfully real (and a little spicy) about The Bonding Project (https://www.bondingproject.com/) from the Center for Positive Sexuality; a research-driven relationship quiz that’s basically Myers-Briggs for intimacy, mapping how you bond across dimensions like stability vs exploration, independence vs togetherness, and structure vs flexibility. They tease apart the 16 relationship archetypes, then reveal their own results: Bradford as a Villager and Angela as a... well you'll have to listen and see! Using their dynamic as an example, they talk compatibility, friction points, and how shared rituals can keep love connected without feeling trapped.

  • 445 - Finding Your People: Community and Connection
    Apr 8 2026

In this episode of By the Bi, we’re diving into the importance of community within bisexual, non-monogamous, and kink spaces. We talk about why having a sense of belonging matters so much, especially when your identity or lifestyle sits outside the mainstream and how the right community can provide support, validation, and genuine connection.

We also get real about the challenges: showing up alone, navigating cliques, dealing with rejection, and figuring out where you actually fit. Plus, we share personal experiences from building our own community through events and Discord chats to those small moments that turn strangers into friends.

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite belong, or you’re still looking for your people, this episode is for you.
