  • Spooooooooky!!! Lake Lanier!
    Oct 31 2022

Hey Barcrawlers! We had hoped to do more spooky episodes this month, but I've just got so much crazy going on. So, here you go, just for Halloween! It is the story about Lake Lanier in Georgia! A spooky and haunted lake where hundreds of people have died and there are lots of ghost stories, as well as a horribly racist past...cause this is America!
Anyway, have a great Halloween! Stay Safe! Love you!

  • Vote Florida!
    Oct 25 2022

Hey Barcrawlers! Thank you so much for your patience with us for getting these episodes out. This first one is so important and exciting that we even forgot to introduce ourselves and the show! This episode is our recommendations for voting in Florida. As two queer women, one of whom is a woman of color, we disagree with the idea of "it doesn't matter who you vote for, as long as you vote." IT ABSOLUTELY MATTERS WHO YOU VOTE FOR. So, we give a run down of who we recommend and why. Obviously, you should just do what we say, but we will still give you reasons!
Early voting started in our county yesterday and I plan on getting in today if possible. Please vote, and please vote responsibly.

  • The Harlem Hellfighters in World War I
    Sep 20 2022

Hey Barcrawlers! Well, this is an episode that is extra drunk messy. There is a bunch of rambling, especially at the beginning and end. But I'm leaving it, because that's just who I am as a person!
Anyway! For this week's episode, Kate was in a bit of a mood for some World War I stuff (when is she not?!) and wanted to share info about the Harlem Hellfighters, the Black regiment from New York that spent more time on the front lines than any other American regiment. They also kicked so much ass. So, listen to our rambling and learn about an amazing group of men who were the true definition of heroes!
