    Congratulations Cavemen! We did it. We made it to the end of the school year. I hope you all had as much fun as I had this year. I know it was hard at times but we did it.

    I this episode we have the amazing opportunity to hear from Mr. Glahn as we look over the improvements and culture of this last school. We will talk about the changes that have happened this school year. We will also discuss the great things and the not so good things about this school year.

    We will also talk about why change is so hard but important to our lives. Mr. Glahn will share with us the thoughts and emotions he went through when he had to choose some things he would have to change about his experience in a high school setting.

    Thanks for a great year cavemen. I had a lot of fun doing this. Thank you all for listening to this podcast this year. Can't wait till next year to do this again for all of you.

We will also talk about the pros and cons of choosing or not choosing your path for future in this early state. We will also talk about our experiences and what we have noticed as we have experienced our thought processes in choosing a career while still in high school.

We will talk about how we have noticed it in our lives and the lives of some of our closest friends. We will expand on that and talk about when we see this fear pop up and how we see it affect people.

    We will also discuss a way that maybe you all can adapt so you are not as hurt by this fear and you can learn to combat it or make it so it doesn't show up as much in your lives. I know we don't know everything but hopefully this can help you with your understanding and ability to combat the fear of missing out.

  • Why High School Athletics Matter

    I Hope this first week back from spring break has been kind to all of you. Here is your reminder that there is only a few week left in the term.

    In this episode I invited Coach Cuff, a basketball and volleyball coach here at AFHS, to join me and we will talk about the importance of high school athletics, or sports, and why the matter. Mr. Cuff get to see how sports affect students in a more personal level and more direct level, being as he coaches some of the teams here at AFHS.

    We will discuss how sports help us in our social and daily life, as well as what important aspects can we get out of them. Mr. Cuff will be tell us things he has noticed from on the sidelines of some of the sports teams here and how he has tried to teach and implement good practices into the players on these teams

    I hope we all can use team sports as a good source of exercise wether it is on a team, or just with your friends.

    In this episode we will be talking with and hearing from Kyle Moyes, a senior and band nerd here at American Fork High School, about his experiences with handling stress from school with taking breaks from school and what that means to him. Kyle usually has a very full schedule with all of the stuff he does with band and he will be able to tell us how this has made him really appreciate these breaks.

    We will talk about what it really means to take a break from school and how me and Kyle both think it should mean. We will also talk about what can cause this stress and how heavy stress influences our lives as well as everyone else's around us. We will end with talking about how we can spend our breaks and we will the different ways to make our breaks help us.

    In this episode we will be talking with Reid Rogers, a senior here at American Fork High School, about why it is ok to express your passions and realize it is ok to be somewhat of a nerd in what topic interests you. Reid recently make a mini documentary about being a nerd and he will be bring what he learned from that into this episode. We will talk about our opinions and thoughts on the importance of having passions.

    We will discuss what the difference between an interests and a passion. We will also break down what it truly means to be a nerd for something. As we go on talking about passions we will also try to help everyone understand why it isn't bad to be a nerd and why having passions is important and how we all have them.

    The question of the week that we discuss is weird and to be honest we had no idea what we were talking about.

    Hopefully this episode helps you realize that we all are nerds in our own way with many different passions.

    In this episode we will have the wonderful opportunity to hear from Becky Bailey, a biology and sports med teacher here at the high school, about what she has noticed and knows about vulnerability here at high school. She will help us understand what she sees in the classroom as well as what she knows as a staff member.

    We will talk about, What is vulnerability?, and how it affects school life as a student. We will also talk about how we can grow past our knowledge of vulnerability and grow to become more open and willing to be more comfortable in vulnerable situations. Also, we will talk about what it means to be vulnerable and it shows as a high schooler.
