  • #021 Cycle Syncing your Business as a Woman
    Apr 22 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

I'm back in my office, back at the mic, and I started my cycle this morning. My cramps are so bad my sciatic nerve is screaming, and I still have a 3-day seminar to be a part of tooth's week, a software platform to build, a team to coach and mentor, and a high ticket business to run.

    Yay!

If you've ever felt like a machine one week and a puddle the next, closed 4 deals on Tuesday and couldn't open your inbox on Friday, thought something was wrong with you because you couldn't stay "consistent" .... you're not broken. You're a woman. Your body runs on a 28-day cycle and nobody taught you how to work with it.

In this one I'm walking you through:

    • Why your state matters more than your strategy, your script, or your offer
    • The 3 levers that actually change your state (hint: feelings are the output, not the input)
    • What I learned in my NLP cert that changed how I think about emotions forever
    • The 4 phases of your cycle and what to do in each one to actually make money
    • Why ovulation week is your sales week (book everything here)
    • Real talk if you're irregular (I am, I've never been regular a day in my life)
    • The bookend rule ...what you do right before and right after your peak hours matters almost as much as the peak itself
    • Homework that'll change how you see your entire month

Men, don't skip this one. If you have women on your team, a wife, daughter, sister understanding this makes you a better leader. I promise.

    Quick cycle reference

Follicular (week after your period): energy's back, brain's back, ideas are flowing. Batch your content. Build your offers. Plan the launch.

Ovulation (middle of your cycle): you are magnetic. Book every sales call you can. Go live. Pitch. Launch. Be seen.

Luteal (week before your period): shorter fuse, sharper eye. Clean up your systems. Do your follow-ups. Have the hard convos (maybe sleep on the email first).

Menstruation (your period): CEO week, not closer week. Review numbers. Journal. Plan. Do less on purpose.

If you're irregular like me, stop tracking dates and start tracking signals. Your body tells you what phase you're in if you pay attention.

    Quotes from the episode

    • "You're not broken. You're cyclical."
    • "Your future is a well-rehearsed past."
    • "Most women act from feeling. Successful women feel from acting."
    • "Stop saying I am. Start saying I am experiencing."
    • "Your IPAs get your peak hours. Everything else gets what's left."
    • "Busy work gives you the biggest dopamine hit. It doesn't give you the biggest bank account."
    • "Happiness is conditional. You have to pay the price for it."
    • "The skill isn't avoiding bad states. It's how fast you come back."

    Your homework

Pick 2 days a week. Every hour on the hour, answer 3 questions in your notes app:

    1. How am I feeling? (1–10, plus one word)
    2. What have I been focused on for the last hour?
    3. What am I doing next?

Note what day of your cycle you're on.

Do this for 4 weeks. Then dump it all into Claude and ask it to find your pattern.

Some days don't look like the highlight reel. Today I'm recording from my couch, laying sideways, dealing with severe hip pain that's been kicking my ass since December. But guess what? I still showed up.

In this episode I'm talking about what it actually looks like to be a high achieving woman when life throws you a curveball. We're getting into reframing (something I'm currently studying in my NLP masters certification), why 60% done will always beat 100% planned, and how to stop letting perfectionism keep you stuck.

If you're in a messy middle right now, this one's for you. Oh and... stay til the end. There's a little plot twist.

    In this episode:

    • Why "not perfect" doesn't mean "not productive"
    • How to use NLP reframing on your worst days
    • The 60% rule for when you can't show up at 100%
    • A challenge to do the thing you've been avoiding today

  • #019 The Unsexy Business Strategy That Actually Works
    Apr 8 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Think your offer, your content, or your "energy" is what's holding your business back? Those things matter ... but in this quick-hit mini episode, we're getting real about the one habit that separates women building sustainable businesses from those stuck in the "I'm working so hard but nothing's changing" cycle. And it might not be what you expect.

    In this episode, we cover:

    • The fitness coach analogy that reframes how you think about investing in mentorship and why the "cheap option" is almost always the most expensive decision you'll make
    • Why "building in ease" and "trusting the flow" without a system behind it is like walking into a gym on day one and saying you'll just move intuitively
    • The exact data points you should know off the top of your head right now close rate, revenue per lead source, conversations needed to hit your income goal ... and what it means if you can't
    • How tracking is the flashlight, not the punishment, and why you can't fix what you can't see
    • The Rolex metaphor: why investing in yourself and the right coach isn't an expense, it's the one asset that appreciates and can never be taken from you

Key takeaway: Your energy and mindset absolutely matter ... but they work best when they're backed by real numbers. If you've been running your business on vibes and hope alone, today is the day that changes. Know your numbers. Invest in someone with receipts. You are the asset ... act like it.
